There is a certain beauty in the moments in between. I have found in my photographs that the scheduled moment is never the one to capture. It’s the in between. The moment someone looks down to fix their hair or that wonderful moment right as a cloud covers the brightness of the sky. My artistic career has been shaped on the importance of noticing every little detail in the frame of that photograph. Pictures are constantly displayed across every screen we fix our eyes on all day long, but there is something to be said for still thinking about each of those moments something that truly, beautifully, happened. We can’t get lost in the rapid-fire sharing of moments. Notice the in between.
